When two of Jaguar’s 2011 XJ prototypes hit the ring today, we thought something looked a little different with one of the cars. Closer examination shows the XJ will be offered in two wheelbase lengths! The rear passenger doors tell the tale as one prototype clearly has longer doors than the other.

Following reports from late last night and early this morning that talks had broken down with lenders, Chrysler will officially announce its plan to file for Chapter 11 bankruptcy on Thursday. Negotiations between Chrysler and at least three lenders went on through the night, but no agreement was reached.

The FIA announced Thursday its plans for a Formula One budget cap in 2010. The cap will be set at £40 million, up from the originally proposed figure of £30 million after the FIA reviewed the numbers with teams.
