Ford Motor Company, following in the footsteps of Hyundai’s Assurance program, says it will cover payments of up to $700 per month for buyers of new Ford, Lincoln and Mercury products who have been involuntarily laid off of their jobs. The automaker says it will pay for up to 12 months of payments.
