Pierwsze z zamówionych przez wrocławskie Miejskie Przedsiębiorstwo Komunikacji Mercedesów Citaro wkrótce trafią do zajezdni, czytamy w dzisiejszej Gazecie Wrocławskiej. W ciągu roku ma ich się pojawić 100.

Do tej pory najnowszymi autobusami Mercedesa jeździli mieszkańcy Paryża, Londynu, czy Berlina, pisze Gazeta Wrocławska. Teraz takimi cackami będą mogli podróżować także mieszkańcy stolicy Dolnego Śląska.

Miejskie Przedsiębiorstwo Komunikacji wydało na autobusy blisko 100 mln zł. Do września 2009 roku Wrocław będzie miał 100 takich pojazdów. W tej chwili średnia wieku miejskiego autobusu to w MPK 8 lat. Po drogach ciągle jeżdżą mocno wysłużone 25-letnie ikarusy. 41 najstarszych ma zniknąć do końca roku. We flocie MPK jest też 99 jelczy, 180 volvo i 1 man.
